All residents
are encouraged, upon leaving, to keep close contact with Sacramento
Recovery House as well as friends who may still be residents.
Regular alumni get-togethers are held to maintain newly formed bonds
as well as demonstrate the importance of service and involvement in
the life of a clean and sober person.
An independent not-for-profit corporation, Friends of Sacramento
Recovery House, offers alumni and others for direct involvement in
the welfare of Sacramento Recovery House.
Through fund-raising and other activities, the Friends furnish an
important link to the community as well as providing a positive
channel for the graduates' involvement.
Additionally, Sacramento Recovery House staff are always available
for informal conversation. "Have a cup of coffee and stay a
while" are words that have been heard countless times during our
decades long history.
